(CRSA)
The
CRSA was
founded in 1977, and is the only Canadian organization dedicated
exclusively to regional research. Members are drawn from the academic,
public and private sectors and include economists, geographers,
planners, sociologists and political scientists. The CRSA organizes
an annual conference, and provides members with other opportunities
for interaction and discussion. Members may also enjoy associate
membership status in the Western Regional
Science Association and Association de Science Régionale
de Langue Française. Visit the CRSA website for information
on upcoming conferences, membership, and ongoing activities.
The
CRSA publishes the Canadian
Journal of Regional Science, which provides an outlet
for interdisciplinary research on regional and urban issues, encourages
academics to undertake research on regional issues, and promotes
the exchange of ideas across different academic disciplines. Visit
the CJRS website for details on the submission of articles or
to subscribe to the journal.
